Wham Bam Tournaments celebrates our 5 year Anniversary in Pachisi by celebrating YOU - the player. 

During the hours posted above, players will be able to play for a chance to WIN
ONE of several 6 Month Yacht Club Memberships to keep for themselves OR give to a friend.

 

To ensure that ALL players have the same chance to win - not just those who can play all the time..
the YCM Prizes will be given out using our unique Raffle Ticket System.

 We strive to be different.
 Since 1998

  • Players may come & go as they choose & play as much or as little as they want.

  • Ins will be taken continuously.   No waiting for top or bottom of the hour!!  (after initial ALL START @ 12p PST)

  • The 2 Formats offered will be 4 Player Singles & Pards

    • Tables 1- 29 will be used for Single Player games ONLY

    • Tables 31- 75 will be used for Pard games ONLY

    • Table 30 is for Host use only.

  • Players ask to play in the lobby followed by the format they want to play.

    • WhamBam_Booty> in pls for pards

    • WB_DJ_HABS> & SoWicked in pards please

    • Wild_Dreams> in for single player

     IF YOU 'IN' AS A SINGLE PLAYER & YOU DO NOT SPECIFY WHICH FORMAT YOU WANT TO PLAY - YOUR IN WILL BE IGNORED UNTIL YOU DO !!

  • Host will assign each player to a table based on format they in'd for.    Players sit across from their assigned pard.

    • Just because a pard hasn't sat yet doesn't make their seat 'available'.

  • If you ask 'out' after asking 'in', you will NOT be able to 'in' again for 1 hour from asking 'out'.

  • There are NO PARD CHANGES once you ask in.

  • Please make sure your pard is IN THE ROOM before asking in.

  • Please sit quickly AFTER assigned or lose seat choice.   Be considerate of the host & other players by being ready to sit when you ask in.

    • If you sit before you are ack'd you will lose seat choice

    • First Assigned will get seat choice if there is a dispute.

  • Once your table is full, please start your game (after initial ALL START @ 12p PST).

  • Games NOT STARTING within 3 min of last player/team assigned to table will result in a 1 hour DQ for timed out player.

    • Some players have limited time to play & its rude to make them wait.  DON'T IN if you/your pard aren't ready to play immediately !!

    • Timed out players will be replaced

  • Table options for ALL GAMES are:   Manual Fives - No Blocks - 1 Pawn Out.    Resigns are NOT allowed in either format.

  • If a player resigns he/she will lose all raffle tickets thus far & will be no longer allowed to play in the event.  

    • The remaining players on the table will receive the number of tickets they would have got if the game had ended at THAT exact point.

  • Subs are allowed in either format & receive tickets as if they were the original player.   Leaving player receives no tickets.

    • If a player boots & its been 5 minutes from their exit, please ask in lobby for a sub.   There is NO SUB LIST

  • To be eligible to win a prize you must complete at least 5 games in any combination of the 2 formats over the entire weekend.

  • Once NEPTUNE has reported a game is over, the host will clear your table in the lobby & you can ask in again for the same format or a different one!

    • All Neptunes used for the stats will be available for viewing once the stats show.

  • NEPTUNE's Report is PROOF of your COMPLETED game.   All raffle tickets are distributed based on what Neptune says.

    • YCM Members can see NEPTUNE reports automatically in lobby!    Ask How!

    • EVERY GAME is posted to SHG so players can get their points.

  • NAMES NOT SHOWING ON NEPTUNE's REPORT WILL NOT RECEIVE CREDIT     Make sure game is over before leaving table or it can happen to you!

    • If not sure if you should leave table wait for the host to clear your table.

  • There are 2 ways you can receive a Raffle Ticket.   EARNED & BONUS.   See the Ticket Grid tab for more info.

  • All our other standard tourney rules & SHG rules apply.

  • If you are sent a pm on how to move or what to do please pm the host immed.

  • Prize rules are listed on the Prize Drawing tab.

  • Raffle Tickets are NOT transferrable between names/players but if you win a prize you may give it to someone else.

  • Have fun!!   PLEASE pay attention to the hosts!!   Help us help you to have a great time!!

To get 2 BONUS Raffle Ticket Numbers you MUST PRE-REGISTER (Now Closed)

 

  1. When the page opens in a new tab/window please enter your PLAYER NICK - not your real name.

    • If your player nick isn't registered with SHG - and you win - you will be denied the prize & another ticket will be drawn.

  2. Enter your email address.  If you aren't at the drawing we will email you.

  3. Click the button that you have read & understood ALL the Event rules.   Your tickets will 'detach' & are ready to be entered.

  4. Once you click the    button you will see your tickets being put into our Raffle Box.

    • You also can verify your registered by checking for your name in the Registered Players list.

These 2 BONUS Raffle Tickets will become invalid if the required 5 games aren't completed.   Filler

A Secret Table is a pre-determined table that will give EACH player who sits on it 1 BONUS Raffle Ticket (provided they complete their game)

ANY table can be a Secret Table.   There are 15 Secret Tables with each rotation & table numbers may repeat in future rotations.
There are 6 Secret Tables in the Singles section (Tables 1-29) & 9 Secret tables in the Pards section (Tables 31-75)
Once all the Secret Tables in either section have been found a new rotation for that section will start.

Just prior to the start of ins on DAY 1 a list of secret tables for Sat & Sun will be emailed to myself & will be available after the event ends.
If a rotation has not completed by the end of DAY 1 then DAY 2 will pick up where DAY 1 left off.

The Prize Drawing will be Friday, April.5th starting @ 6:30p PST on Table 50.   Players can kib to watch.
A complete list of every player & THEIR Ticket Numbers will be available 24 hours after the event ends.


Winning Ticket numbers are chosen using our unique system of a dice roll combined with the number 74 (decreases by 1 with each new roll)
   
example:  First roll of the dice is a 5 which is multiplied by 74 which equals 370.    This is the RANDOM number used to COUNT tickets to get the FIRST winner.

        Note: Next time the roll of the dice will be multiplied by 73, the time after that by 72 then by 71 etc. & will keep decreasing as tickets are picked.


So now that we have our RANDOM number of 370 the COUNT is started to see who is the lucky holder of the winning ticket in our example.

Saltys Pick → 10539 1 To decide which Ticket Number the COUNT will start with, SaltyPelican will be asked right before the drawing to pick a number from the range of all the Raffle Tickets.

Next dice roll is 11 multiplied by 73 which equals 803 as the RANDOM number.
  TICKET COUNT The COUNT will start with the NEXT Ticket Number in order - which is 10909 - & continues until 803 is reached.

This continues until all the tickets have been picked.


When the last ticket number is reached the tickets start over (Example A) and any tickets that have won are skipped (Example B)

This process ensures that all tickets number are chosen randomly & every ticket is counted giving all tickets the SAME possibility of being picked!

If a player who has already won is picked again, the dice will be re-rolled & the 'count' will start over from the last winning ticket.

The 'COUNTs' showing how each winner was picked will be available after the drawing.

You do NOT have to be present to win.    You will be contacted if you are not there via the email you registered with.

You have until April.12th @ 9p PST to claim your prize or another ticket will be drawn from the last winning ticket & the prize given to someone else.

There will be (14) six month Yacht Club Memberships Prizes available to win !!     Prizes awarded by April.15 & you may give it to someone else.

Each player may only win 1 prize.  If there is a difference in prizes & same winner is picked twice, they will receive the greater prize only.

How to Read the Stats..

    Total Tickets: This is your total of ALL your tickets from both Earned & Bonus.

    Earned Tickets: The total of all of your Earned Tickets from your COMPLETED games.
    Bonus Tickets:  The total of all of your Bonus Tickets thus far.

             Bonus Tickets come from:
                 1 for each Secret Table
                 1 for every 500 points scored in all your Single Games
                 1 for every 1000 points Combined Team Score in Pards Games
 
                 2 for every 5 Games in Singles with a 4 score
                 2 for every 3 Games in Pards with a Team score of 7
                 2 for Pre Registering (as long as 5 games have been COMPLETED)

    PreReg:  This shows you Pre-Registered for this event AND played at least the 5 required games.
    Secret Table:  The number of times you have sat on a Secret Table & won a ticket.

    Single Games:  The number of Single Player Games you have Completed.
    Pard Games:  The number of Pard Games you have Completed.


    Single Pawns:  The number of pawns put in home in all Single Player Games.
    Singles Score:  The sum of ALL SCORES from your Single Player Games.

    Pard Pawns:  The number of pawns you AND your pard put home in all Pard Games.
    Pard Scores:  The sum of ALL SCORES from you AND your pard in Pard Games. 


    Single 4's:  The number of times you have got a Perfect Score of 4 in Single Player Games.
    Pards 7's:  The number of times you & your pard have got a Perfect Score of 7 in Pard Games.


    Total Games: This is your total of how many games you have completed in both Singles & Pards.
    Total Pawns: The is your total of how many Pawns you/your pard put home in both Singles & Pards.
    Total Score:  This is your total of your Scores from the games you have completed in both Singles & Pards.

    Hosting Tickets:  Hosts receive Tickets for choosing to host over playing.  This includes posting all the Neptune Reports to SHG
              23 tickets for 10 hours
              11 tickets for 5 hours
                8 tickets for 4 hours
                5 tickets for 3 hours
                3 tickets for 2 hours
                1 ticket for 1 hour


Neptunes are entered into the database shortly after your table has been cleared.   However during busier times it may take longer so please be patient.   Thank You.
